Hello everyone! I know its been such a long time since I’ve last posted and I wanted to get back onto this because I do still play Final Fantasy XI! Much has happened in the last 4 months, I quit FFXI, I came back to FFXI, I found a job that I love, and there has been so many new updates to the Final Fantasy XI world that I don’t even know where to start. In the past month (June 2010) there was a huge update that included things such as; the level cap increase from 75 to 80 and the launch of a new Battlefield type event called “Abyssea”. I have so far risen my Paladin to level 76 I know that doesn’t sound like much but, I do work a 40 hours a week job now so I don’t get much time to play mostly after work and weekends. I have so far experienced one Abyssea and so far it seems like a very well thought out event, I look forward to learning more about it in the days to come. Also, along with the new update they changed the majority of the level capped zones of the Chains of Promathia Expansion including the battlefields for the storyline. I’m happy they did this for players who haven’t done the storyline yet or for new players who have come so late into the game these players can now enjoy the storyline and benefits of CoP without the hassle that many “old” players had to deal with. On another note, I’m no longer a member of the Linkshell Finale due to my playtime change, I can only play FFXI during NA late night, so they no longer saw the reason for me being in the shell any longer. I respect their decision; I however disagree for the reason or the matter in which it was handled but it no longer an issue. I’m still helping lead CartoucheLS Linkshell and main Paladin, I’ve gained a lot from them and not only items but friends. I look forward to the many updates still ahead of us for the rest of this year, the final push to level 99 and the coming of the other 2 Abyssea Expansions. I will be attempting to keep this blog updated as I know I have many viewers (haha).
